An Antique diamond ring 3 old cut diamonds in the engagement ring
What is it worth for a C1900 Antique 3 old cut DIAMOND 18ct GOLD engagement ring. This is quite an old antique ring. It is made of 18K solid yellow gold with a platinum setting. An eternity trilogy style set with 3 very early European cut Diamonds. The central one is about 0.32 carats and the 2 outside ones are about 0.25 carats each. These were cut in the day when size was the most important factor rather than symmetry, color and clarity. This ring would date from about 1900, give or take a few years, and has some thinning of the band and wear to the setting but is still in sound and wearable condition. The ring is a genuine old ring in original condition. The setting is 14.1mm across the shoulders and 5.6 mm wide. The band is 0.7mm wide at the shoulders and widening to 1.5mm at the back. The Diamonds are 1 x 3.9mm x 4.1mm x 3mm deep and 2 x 3.8mm in diameter. Total weight is 1.95 grams.
